A new app, TravelBank, rewards business travelers who make decisions and decrease the cost of their travel expenses. TravelBank estimates trip costs based on trip details and allows employees to make decisions on which details to splurge on and which items to save on, such as flights, hotels, transportation and food. The app tallies expenses as they are incurred. It also encourages travelers to stay below budget by splitting the cost savings between the employee and employer in the form of travel credits that can be used on TravelBank partners like Uber, Lyft and Airbnb.
