Fall is the perfect time to hit the links with your group. Here is a sampling of some of Wisconsin’s great golf courses perfect for hosting your next outing.

1. Geneva National, Lake Geneva

The Geneva National Resort offers 54 holes of golf designed by such greats as Lee Trevino, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer. Five tee boxes offer flexibility for your group, allowing golfers of varying skill levels to enjoy the game. The clubhouse is perfect for a quick board meeting before teeing off, or a large dinner (for up to 400) following play.

2. Wild Rock Golf Course, Wisconsin Dells

Designed by the same architects as Erin Hills, site of the 2017 U.S. Open, Wild Rock Golf Course in Wisconsin Dells offers enjoyable golf with stunning views spanning 30 miles. Extreme elevation changes, as well as the variety of topography—ranging from woods to sandstone ridges—make this a particularly scenic course. Views of the Baraboo Bluffs in full fall foliage are one of the annual highlights here.

3. Forest Ridges Golf Course, Cable

Enjoy challenging golf at this course located at the The Lakewoods Resort on Lake Namakagon. Delivering true Northwoods scenery, you’ll find tree-lined fairways that offer glimpses of wildlife with views of woodlands and wetlands. Group packages and a group planner available on site.

4. SentryWorld Golf Course, Stevens Point

A Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed course, SentryWorld was rebuilt in 2015 and offers a beautiful course located in the center of the state. Treat your group to an outing, where they have their own personal caddie. Possibly the most memorable hole, watch for the par-3 number 16 dubbed the “flower hole,” for its 50,000 flowers.

5. House on the Rock Resort Golf Course

Located just down the road from Frank Lloyd Wright’s school and home, is a 27-hole gem cut into the Wisconsin River Valley. The adjacent resort offers meeting space, an onsite restaurant and clubhouse. Treat your group to a performance at American Players Theatre, located just across the road from the resort and golf course.
