HKS Holdings, a real estate development company based in Milwaukee, and Concord Hospitality Enterprises, a hotel development and management company based in Raleigh, N.C., have begun construction on the Renaissance Hotel in Wauwatosa, which will be the first full-service, Marriott-branded hotel in the area.
The 198-room hotel will include amenities such as a concierge lounge, a fitness room and event spaces located on the 12th floor. The property also will include a 4,500-square-foot grand ballroom, additional meeting space and a destination restaurant.
The property expects to be completed in spring or summer 2020.
