by Hawkeye Hotels, an Iowa-based hotel investment and redevelopment company, has submitted plans for a five-story, 243-room dual branded Hilton hotel on Madison’s east side, as reported by the Wisconsin State Journal.
Hilton brands Home2 Suites and Tru, will merge onto one property to provide travelers more lodging options and also appeal to younger lodgers. The hotel would be near a large collection of hotels at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Interstate 39-90.
