Whether a conference is large or small, Middleton can accommodate while offering more than 80 restaurants and cafes; several shopping districts; and plenty of outdoor recreation options, from trails to kayaks.

Getting Started

Visit Middleton, the city’s tourism department, offers meeting planners the resources, assistance and grants needed to ensure that planners, as well as attendees, have a positive experience. Our marketing staff can assist with photo and video libraries, custom-created emails and newsletter blurbs, as well as other pre-promotional materials. Our convention and event services manager is a certified meeting planner, and can assist with questions, vendor recommendations, customized itineraries and flyers, and more. And the grant program may be used toward pre-promotes for the meeting/convention, speaker fees and travel, audiovisual rentals, as well as other costs. The application process is free and easy. Hotels and Venues

The Madison Marriott West-Middleton is located just next to Greenway Station, a 46-acre outdoor shopping center minutes from Downtown Middleton. This Middleton property is the largest convention hotel in the county and about 15 minutes from downtown Madison. The Marriott has 60,000 square feet of conference and flex space with 19 conference rooms, and it has hosted everything from sports clinics to steampunk conventions to galas. The Hilton Garden Inn is the city’s second largest conference space hotel with 3,600 square feet of meeting space and the Courtyard by Marriott has 1,860 square feet — both properties underwent major renovations in 2023. Middleton has six additional hotels, all with unique offerings, and all work together on room blocks and overflow.

There are also many locations around town that are fun smaller venues for cocktail parties, gatherings, board meetings and group dinners. For a full list, just ask.
