According to Urban Milwaukee, Minnesota-based JR Hospitality has begun applying for permits for three downtown Milwaukee hotels. A Holiday Inn Express, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton, at six-floors total, will be situated at E. Michigan and N. Jefferson Streets.
Over the past ten years, Milwaukee has seen a massive uptick in downtown hotel development from the Kimpton to the Aloft to the Hyatt Place and the Brew House Inn & Suites hotels.
Guests at JR Hospitality’s hotels will experience a floor-to-ceiling mural in the pedestrian tunnel that connects the East Town district with the Historic Third Ward.
