The city of Green Bay has given early approval to a $30 million hotel project that will be located on the site of the former Brett Favre Steakhouse. The Legacy Hotel is being developed by Legendary Hotels, LLC. The five-story luxury Legacy Hotel would offer 79 guest rooms—all being suites—a spa, farm to table restaurant, café, rooftop bar, fitness center and meeting space.

The project still needs approval from the city council, but developers are hoping to break ground later this year and be open in fall 2020, according to reports from WBAY.com.
