Kalahari Resorts has announced another expansion to its Wisconsin Dells property. The family-owned and operated resort, with four locations nationwide, will begin construction on a new building consisting of 237 guest rooms this spring.

“As Wisconsin Dells continues to flourish as a tourism and convention destination, we remain dedicated to supporting the region’s growth,” said Travis Nelson, president of Kalahari Resorts. “Dedicated guests, committed associates and steadfast community support have granted us the opportunity to continually grow our home resort in the Dells since opening over 20 years ago.”

The 237-room addition will require an investment of upwards of $50 million and is expected to open by Memorial Day weekend next year. All 237 of the new rooms will feature a standard double queen bed offering with contemporary deìcor and modern amenities.

“We have been encouraged and pleased with the consistent positive economic trajectory we have seen across the Wisconsin Dells region as a whole,” continues Nelson. “This expansion is a solution that directly keeps more business in the Dells area.”

The addition will be connected to the resort via skywalk.

“Kalahari has plans to continue growing at all four of our properties to meet our guests’ ever evolving and expanding needs,” explains Nelson.
