Mortenson Development recently made an informational presentation to the Madison City Planning Commission regarding a six-story hotel to be located near the Kohl Center on the University of Wisconsin campus. The property would include 176 guest rooms, offer meeting space and other amenities. It would be located on Regent Street. Kahler Slater has been named architect for the property.

The proposal will now start to move through the city’s review process.
