Heidel House Resort in Green Lake will be closing its doors within the next few months. The resort first opened in 1945 but was purchased by Madison-based Fiore Companies in the 1980s. Fiore enlisted the help of Marcus Resorts several years ago to manage the property. However, a Fiore representative told the Ripon Commonwealth Press that the property had been operating with continued revenue losses for the past decade. The property is scheduled to close May 20.
