Paul Upchurch, president and CEO of Visit Milwaukee, has announced his resignation from Milwaukee’s hospitality and tourism organization. He announced his departure last week and says he will stay until Dec. 31 to assist with the transition.

Since Upchurch joined VISIT Milwaukee in 2010, tourism spending increased from $1.6 billion in 2011 to $3.2 billion in 2018, according to the organization.

Visit Milwaukee says it will conduct a national search for Upchurch’s replacement and hope to have the position filled by end of year.
