ELEMENTS BY THE ODYSSEY UNVEILS REFRESHED EVENT SPACES

First Hospitality recently assumed management of Elements by The Odyssey, a premier event venue recognized for its elevated experiences, in Orland Park, Illinois. The transition introduces not only refreshed event spaces, but also enhanced service and expanded capabilities designed to support a broader range of events, from corporate gatherings to culturally diverse celebrations.

At the center of the venue is a 6,500-square-foot grand ballroom, featuring 17-foot ceilings, adjustable walls and flexible configurations. The space accommodates 25 to 350 guests, allowing for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Dedicated pre- function areas enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring a seamless flow from arrival through event completion.

The updated interiors introduce a clean, contemporary aesthetic designed to feel both sophisticated and adaptable. Neutral tones, modern lighting and refined architectural details create a timeless backdrop that can be customized for each event. GREAT LAKES JOIN THE GLOBAL CULINARY MAP WITH NEW MICHELIN GUIDE

The MICHELIN Guide recently introduced its latest expansion into the Great Lakes region of the U.S. with the announcement of the MICHELIN Guide American Great Lakes edition. This multi-city guide will cover the six cities of Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Pittsburgh.

“The MICHELIN Guide is committed to fostering a culture of travel and dining by helping people discover unforgettable culinary experiences in new destinations,” says Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the MICHELIN Guide. “We are excited to finally be putting a stake in the ground in the Great Lakes region, spotlighting the talent and food cultures across these six great cities. Our anonymous inspectors have begun canvassing these cities for impressive culinary talent and are eager to share their experiences with you in the inaugural selection next year.”

The MICHELIN Guide’s anonymous inspectors are already in the fi eld, making dining reservations and scouting for culinary gems throughout the region. The full restaurant selection will be revealed in 2027 at the MICHELIN Guide American Great Lakes Ceremony, which will be announced at a later date.

The MICHELIN Guide is constantly observing the evolution of culinary destinations around the world. The guide’s selection process is determined by anonymous inspectors and remains completely independent.

NEW DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT THE CINCINNATI REGIONAL SPORTS COMMISSION

The Cincinnati Regional Sports Commission recently announced the addition of Holly Perella as its new director of business development. In this role, she will lead the organization’s efforts to attract and secure sporting events that drive economic impact and elevate the Cincinnati region as a premier sports destination.

In her new role, Perella will focus on identifying and securing new event opportunities, strengthening relationships with rights holders, and working collaboratively with regional partners to deliver exceptional experiences for athletes, organizers and visitors.

The Cincinnati Regional Sports Commission, launched to drive sports-related economic impact, is focused on attracting, hosting and supporting a wide range of amateur and professional sporting events that benefit the entire region.
